When Will My Child Start Losing Baby Teeth?

Most children begin losing their baby teeth between the ages of five and seven, although some kids lose theirs as early as four years old. They typically lose them in the same order that they grew in, which means the top and bottom front teeth will likely fall out first. As this occurs, their new, permanent adult teeth will replace the primary teeth. Typically, the last baby teeth that fall out will be the molars, usually between 10 and 12 years old.
